PILI's Database on Anti-discrimination and Equality Law (DADEL) is a targeted, searchable resource database for human rights advocates seeking information on anti-discrimination law and policy in Europe. PILI and Equal Rights Trust (ERT) have joined efforts to develop a single database on anti-discrimination and equality law with the purpose of combating discrimination and promoting equality in all regions of the world. As part of this effort, DADEL’s current and future resources will be transferred to ERT’s virtual library (www.equalrights.org), where they will be permanently stored beginning in spring 2009.

ERT and PILI’s DADEL share the goal of making information on anti-discrimination and equality more accessible in order to combat discrimination and promote equality. ERT already has an extensive database on national and international equality law. DADEL brings together a wide variety of materials, including treaties, declarations, national laws, national and international cases, and reports. The joint effort will improve the ability of the two organizations in providing more extensive, and more updated information on anti-discrimination and equality law around the world.
